Very exciting stuff is in the works for SarahBear's Cards & Creations. First off, below is one of our newest creations -- The Blooming Box. This unique album has so many layers for pictures, you will be surprised!! Each layer is made of different paper, but together they make one beautiful album. They haven't made it to the web site yet, but they will soon! They will retail for $25.

Also, after reviewing our survey from returning customers as well as potential customers, SarahBear's is branching out to Etsy! Our store is in the process of being built, so for those of you who are a little uneasy about creating and designing your own Photo Tin or Star Album, we will make it easy by having actual creations to buy -- just as we do when we sell at the local holiday boutiques. Don't wait though, once it's sold, it's gone. SarahBear's doesn't make any two items EXACTLY the same. You will be able to find our Etsy store by going to our web site: www.sarahbeargifts.com and clicking on the Etsy link...it's that simple!

Keep an eye out for the new store...it should be in place by the end of August...just in time for the kids to go back to school! Until then, enjoy the rest of your summer!

I don't know what it is about Summer that I love most...could be the beach...or my birthday...or the idea of swimming and playing with my kids!

These cards made me so happy and I had to share them with all of you!

I was lucky enough to visit the GIFT SHOW in Los Angeles

this week! I made lots of new contacts and learned so much about integrating technology and marketing the company! These photo tins caught the eye of several people and store fronts. SarahBear's Cards & Creations is so excited to be participating in some holiday boutiques this season. Here are some of the places where you can find us: October 12-14th - Pam's Pre Holiday Boutique at the Embassy Suites in Valencia. November 7th - Conejo Valley Mom's Club. November 13-15th - 1st Christian Church of North Hollywood. November 17th - 18th - Adat Ari El in North Hollywood. November 22nd - Temple Beth Hillel in Valley Village. Dec. 3rd - Wesley School in North Hollywood. There are a few more that haven't been confirmed yet, but please come check out the items at the above boutiques, and let us know how you heard about us!

Mother's Day is coming and I was inspired by the beauty around me. I've been feeling kind of floral! As the mom of two girls, I've suddenly become more appreciative of my own mom. Whether it's kissing boo boos, or hearing about fights with friends and trying not to get in the middle, moms are always trying to do what is best for their children -- ALWAYS! We help our children to grow strong and be beautiful, inside and out! We may not always be appreciated in the moment, but I feel like when our children become parents, they will learn a new appreciation for us. Here's to all the moms I know who are continuously loving their children and giving their all. I hope you get the appreciation you deserve! These flowers are for you!

Hope Tins are HERE!!

I was lucky enough to attend the Stand Up To Cancer event a few weeks ago. It was an emotional, exciting and hopeful hour. To see so many people donating their money and time to make the event a success made me feel so proud. Researchers have come a long way; it gives me hope that there are so many survivors out there fighting to live! I was able to give some of the tins to survivors and explain what SarahBear's is trying to do. With each tin sale, 20% will go to Susan G. Komen to help researchers continue to find new ways to help beat Cancer! Tins start at $30.

Forget-Me-Not Tins support Alzheimer's Association

SarahBear's has now started making Forget-Me-Not Tins to help raise money for The Alzheimer's Association. So many people are affected by this terrible disease. The loss of memory is a very tough thing for all family members to deal with. SarahBear's wants to help with the fight against Alzheimer's. These Forget-Me-Not Tins hold nine pictures. They fit nicely in a purse or can be left open or closed on a table. SarahBear's will donate 20% of each sale of the Forget-Me-Not Tin to The Alzheimer's Association. Tins are priced at $30.

More than 180,000 new cases of Breast Cancer are expected to affect women in the US in 2008. Like so many others, Sarah Barrett has had family and friends affected by Breast Cancer. SarahBear's Hope Tins are designed to provide strength and support to those living with the disease as well as the important people who make up their inner circle. By purchasing SarahBear's Hope Tins, customers can not only provide a unique gift for family, friends and co-workers affected by Beast Cancer, but also help contribute to Cancer research.
